I’m working on trying to read my physical books I own and this is an older title I picked up from one of the times I attended #ApollyCon. It’s also an earlier title from Katee Robert.

I own way too many books that I’ve never read 😅 but I’m working on tackling them slowly but surely.

Finally got my first Fall drink last Friday. I saw someone suggest the pumpkin cold foam iced chai and I decided to give it a go but hot & it was definitely more delicious than I thought it would be since I’m not really a PSL girlie (don’t @ me lol 😂)

Finally made my “Books I’ve Read This Year” ornament.

This one has all the books I’ve read in 2022 (chase yes I’m that late to the game in making it). I bought all the supplies last year with great intentions but I just didn’t get a chance to sit down and do it. I’m just more ahead of the game this year so I’m hoping 2023 will actually be done in 2023 🤣.

My parents randomly found a copy of Fourth Wing at our local BJs && I’m so ecstatic to have a copy of this sprayed edges version!! 🔹 Some tragic pasts
🔹 Some “didn’t see them coming” twists at the end
🔹 High Chemistry with lots of build up
🔹 Cliffhanger that has me running to grab book two because I need to solve the mystery!! (& obvs want the MCs to have a HEA 🤞🏻)

Quick Thoughts:
I ended up enjoying this one more than I thought I would, but to be fair, it does have a lot of what I love: supernatural/paranormal setting, a mystery, enemies-to-lovers with good chemistry. I saw some of the twists coming but not all of them which always bumps my rating since that doesn’t always happen for me. Overall this was an engaging read & I’m definitely picking up book 2 soon! 😊

A little late, but here’s what I’ve read this past month. It was a lighter month at just 5 books.

The last book was actually a novella. I read a bunch of them last year when they were releasing them each day during October, but I never finished all of them. Probably going to try and finish the rest though.

Spent some time at the UM Hatcher library this past weekend while visiting friends.

I ended up reading Rez Dogs which I’ve been meaning to pick up. I also got a chance to see an earlier hardcover edition of Tithe by Holly Black which I started but couldn’t finish in the time I was there, so I’m definitely going to be picking that book up again. Luckily I own the paperback 😊

Apparently it’s been 1.5 years since I’ve last posted on here. I’m looking forward to doing so again at my own pace for my own enjoyment 😊 I’m sure I’ll do a life update eventually, but for now here’s what I’ve read last month — pretty much all #smut but 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I am trying to return to reading more than romance, but honestly this genre has gotten me through some pretty tough years (also picture books 😉) . Still, I’m hoping to pick up some middle grade / YA / & Mystery again 😊💕

Maybe I’ll even start reviewing on my two blog/websites again soon too. I’m feeling creative again so I’ll see where that takes me.
